You’ve heard it all before.
You know it’s a big part of being on a spiritual journey. But how much time do you actually spend trying to raise your vibration? Five minutes of meditation here and there? You probably don’t have a problem with the exercises.
It’s the consistency that gets you…
Things can be going great for a week or even two or three. But then something happens that throws you a curve. You encounter some low vibrational people who challenge your position, and you slip back into your old limiting thought patterns.
It can take you right off course and be incredibly frustrating. I know, I’ve been through it myself. But when you get knocked down, you don’t have to stay there. Life is always going to challenge you. It’s all about how you respond.
Raising your vibration back to where it was and should be is a lot easier than you think. The key is not restricting yourself to one method. It’s about spreading your bets. So, if your meditation practice takes a hit, you have other ways to get you to where you want.
What Does it Mean to Raise Your Vibration (And Why Should You Care?)

By learning how to raise your vibration, you’re taking the first step of becoming responsible for yourself. It’s an acknowledgement that you are the one who’s in control of your reality. And if you want to see change in your life, then it has to come from within.
Everything has a vibration. It’s an immutable law of the universe. Every thought, action, and word you speak is either keeping you at the level you’re at now or taking you further towards your goals. It’s an undeniable fact. You reap what you sow. It’s the law of cause and effect.
When you’re rooted in negative energies such as selfishness, fear or hate, you’re limiting the bandwidth you can operate on. Each emotion has its own frequency. But the more you reach for those higher forms of expression, such as love and joy, the more your consciousness will expand.
Raising your vibration is a process, not an event. It’s part of your wider soul’s journey. When by actively trying to raise your frequency, you start doing the inner work in yourself. It’s the difference between knowing the path and walking the path
You Change Your Frequency to Change Your Reality
Your vibration is linked to your potential, and each time you make the effort to raise it, you’re making an affirmation to the universe. You’re letting it be known that you’re ready to experience change. Because as you raise vibration further and further, you can no longer be a signature frequency match for your current reality. As your vibration shifts. So does the world around you.
Don’t deny yourself. The ability to manifest your reality is a powerful tool. One that not many are aware of and even fewer a willing to master. Be the one who stands out from the crowd. Step out of mediocrity and embrace your unlimited potential. You don’t need to wait for permission. You only need to believe you’re capable and take action. The more you apply conscious thought to your choices, the more you’ll thrive.
How Can I Raise My Vibration?

Anything that makes you feel good raises your vibration. It’s a state of being linked to your emotional well-being. And the more you can anchor yourself in those higher emotions, the more you’ll attract experiences that are a match for your current reality.
If you really want to take your spirituality to the next level, you can use some of the tools below. In a few cases, it’s not practical to use them every day. But I’ve included them to give you an idea of what’s possible. You can use most of them, though. And I’ve ordered the list in a way that creates a semi-daily routine.
1. Express Gratitude Daily
As soon as you wake up, give thanks for everything that’s in your life. It’s quick, easy and has an effect on your day that far outweighs the effort it takes to do it. It sets a positive tone for how you mean to go on, and the more you engage with it, the more of a compounding effect it has. I even like to go one more and do a gratitude prayer before eating to add an extra layer of intentionality to my day.
2. Affirmations
Engaging with your mighty I AM Presence is another step up from giving gratitude. In fact, the two go hand in hand with each other. You want to begin any expression of gratitude with the prefix ‘I AM.’ By doing this, you’re affirming to the universe you already have/are what you desire. The universe takes your affirmations very literally. So if you begin your them with ‘I want,’ you’ll always be in a state of wanting.
3. Meditation
If meditation is the only thing you do to raise your vibration, you’ll still make significant progress on your spiritual journey. It’s one of the oldest spiritual practices out there – because it works. There are a ton of meditation techniques out there to choose from. Far too many to cover here. But some of the more ones include mindfulness, vipassana, transcendental, loving-kindness, and zen.
4. Breathing Exercises
Breathing exercises are a great way for you to bring more pranic energy into your body. Many of us are stuck taking shallow breaths into our chest, which limits the amount of life force we have access to. But through engaging with a type of breathwork known as holotropic breathing, you can use it to access higher states of consciousness. If done correctly, you’re able to bring on visionary DMT-like experiences.
5. Connect with Your Higher Self
The more you’re able to remain in touch with your Higher Self, the greater your vibration will be. It’s the highest aspect of your consciousness, which guides your most inspired choices in life. And as we’ve mentioned, your vibration is directly related to your actions. The more you’re able to act from your highest intent, the greater your vibration will be. You can check out tapping into your higher self for how to connect.
6. Eat More Raw Fruits and Vegetables (And Less Processed Foods)
You might not find this appealing, but it can be delicious if you find the right recipes. Adopting a raw vegan/plant-based diet is, by far, one of the most transformative things I’ve done on my spiritual journey. You’re eating food in its pure, unaltered state with all of the enzymes still intact. You lose none of the nutrients you would by cooking. But you don’t need to go all the way, though. Just adding more raw fruits and veg into your diet will have a positive effect on your life and overall vibration.
7. Work with Powerful Crystals
Crystals each have their own unique vibration. And they can all have beneficial effects on your life. But some are better than others for raising your vibration. You want to be working with those that are related to crown and heart chakras. There are a plethora of high vibrational crystals out there for you to choose from, such as selenite, moldavite, mayanite, diaspore and stellar beam calcite. However, some of them can be quite expensive. I’d recommend starting with the selenite. It’s cheap, powerful and easy to track down.
8. Connecting with Your Heart Space
Your heart space is your spiritual centre and where your vibratory energy originates. It’s a powerful part of your being. And when you focus your attention on your heart individually, you can create massive shifts in your energy. Creating specific affirmations that you speak out loud to your heart will help raise its frequency. You can also try overlaying an image of a spiralling galaxy over your heart as an extended visualisation technique. I use both these frequently.
9. Uplifting Music and Binaural Beats
Any music that makes you feel good will raise your vibration. But if you listen to music that’s tuned to 432hz, it creates a special resonance within your being. The human body is particularly sensitive to this frequency and harmonises with it in a special way. You can also use binaural beats and other soundscape-style tracks that are designed to synchronise the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
10. Change Your Environment
All of the above will do you little good if you’re stuck in a toxic environment. If you’re surrounded by negative people who’re chipping away at your morale day after day, you’ll find it hard to maintain any type of balance. It might not be practical to quit your job tomorrow or rearrange your entire social circle. But if it’s causing you distress, you should start putting action steps in place to move away from those things that are dragging you down.
What Happens When I Raise My Vibration?
The answer to that is a lot! When you raise your vibration to a high enough level, you go through a process of spiritual transformation. But to do so, you need to engage with yourself at a much deeper level than you might at present. You need to dig in and really do the inner work on a consistent basis. You can’t meditate for a week and then ask why nothing is happening in your life… It’s a long road. But it’s a rewarding one.
Synchronicities will start flooding your life, and you’ll experience increased signs from the universe that are guiding you towards your goals. The more you raise your vibration, the more you’ll want to explore your spirituality. And as your baseline frequency rises, you’ll become an anchor of the light for other people to lean on. You’ll become more emotionally honest, and a new chapter of your life will open up.

How Much Does Raising Your Vibration Mean to You?
No one can do this work for you. It must come from within. How much does this really matter to you? Are you really a true seeker on the path of enlightenment? Or is spirituality something more casual? Whichever way you answer is fine.
Everyone is on their own path. Each of us has different needs.
But if you want to embody the higher levels of vibrational energy, it’s going to take more than just a casual approach to your daily, weekly and monthly spiritual practice.
That doesn’t mean you have to take an ultra-intense approach. The best way to go about any spiritual path is by not forcing experiences.
Live without expectations.
But as we talked about at the beginning, the main reason why you might not be where you want to be right now is consistency.
Engaging with your practice once a week isn’t enough, even if you sit and meditate for 3 hours. It’s far more beneficial for you to spend 15-20 minutes every day than it is to go hard once a week.
Here’s a hack you can use to jump-start your progress and the way I like to incorporate new habits into my routine.
Set yourself a 21-day challenge and choose one of those strategies from the list above.
Choose only one and do it for 21 days straight.
That’s the minimum amount of time it takes for the brain to create the neural pathways that are responsible for the formation of new habits.
Then, once you’ve integrated one new habit, add another.
Keep on going until you have developed a rock-solid routine.
Create a routine out of creating new routines.
Get into the mode of habit stacking — the compound effect.
Try it. You’ll be amazed at where it takes you.
It’s worked wonders for me!
